This is a great example of an older MK66. It is the very same OTA reviewed at cloudynights. See Astromart ad #176997 for some details. It is a great 'scope with an exceptional optics set as the ad, and review will tell you. It comes with a 2" ep/diagonal adapter, Kendrick dew remover strap (looks unused... sold for originally for $48), very nice padded case, and a like new Intes/Vixen dovetail to attach to a GP or the like. It also has the original illuminated finder.
Condition is just as described in the original ad. I have used it very little. There are some spots on the corrector, but no damage I can see. I thought I saw what might have been a small, light scratch once, but I can't find it now. The focuser is not the smoothest, but quite serviceable. I also have an Apogee crayford focuser that threads onto the back and will give you perfect smoothness if you want it. I would sell it WITH THE 'SCOPE for $110. I have only threaded it on to test, so it is like new. It looks and feels just like the William Opptics focuser. I think they might be sourced from the same place.
There are several small chips in the paint.
So, $725 shipped CONUS... $835 with focuser.
Email any questions.
Thanks for looking.
Clear skies.
-Mike
