This TV np101 was purchased new by me from Company 7 last year. I’ve used it three times from my back porch and it is in perfect condition. It’s shown mounted on a new Bogen 475 collapsible tripod sporting a new UniStar Deluxe mount head. I want to sell the scope and mount as a set. You can see from the bottom picture that the mount provides a small and portable setup for this scope. There are excellent reviews of the scope and mount head on cloudy nights and other sites. I'd hoped to use this scope to get my sons interested in astronomy as a family hobby but the overwhelming amount of ambient light here in the city was too much for us. (I have a separate ad for my TV Binovue with dual sets of click-stop 8-24mm zooms, 20 and 32mm TV Plossls over in the binoviewer classifieds, and an ad for a Nagler 22mm, 3-6zppm, 8-24zoom and 2" PowerMate 2x).
Like new TeleVue NP 101 Ivory refractor with 2" diagonal (no EPs included)
New TV Starbeam finder with flip down mirror
TV Sol Finder (solar sight)
Kendrick full aperture solar film filter (one kid’s smudged fingerprint on filter)
Clamshell scope mounting bracket (came with scope from TV, holds Starbeam)
2”to1.25” EP adapter
TeleVue hard case with foam
Includes all original paperwork signed by Al of course.

Bogen 475 collapsible tripod - OK for TV 101 portable use up to ~120x or so
UniStar Deluxe mount head - more than adequate weight capacity, no 'dead' spots
Dual AstroPhysics padded 4” mounting rings
Dovetail plate used to mount the AP scope rings to the UniStar head
* Note; the Starbeam mounts to the TV clamshell bracket, which can be left on the scope even with the AP brackets in place.

My total cost for all of these items new was just under $5000 (sigh).

Asking $3,900 firm for the lot, payable in Postal Money orders or cashiers check drawn on a local bank in the buyer's city. I will ship USPS 3-day priority insured mail on receipt of payment. This is a good deal for a beautiful scope and a very versitile portabe mount, check the reviews and my ratings.

Thanks for looking

John Piper
