This is a beautiful condition AP 400 GTO mount, manufactured in 2000 (S/N 400415) with the original 19:1 gear ratio upgraded to 32:1 for fine control and the KD chip. It includes Digital Sky Voice software, a newly purchased AP illuminated polar scope, the standard AP dovetail saddle, manuals, 3 counterweights, rubber keypad protector, and an AP wood tripod with black nylon carrying case. This mount is suitable for astrophotography and is considered to be one of the finest GOTO mounts for lighter scopes.

I am the second owner, the mount was lightly used when I got about a year and a half ago for my new TV np 101. Sad to say I’ve never gotten around to using the mount it other than to power it up once when I first got it. It’s too fine an instrument to sit unused when there are people out there who can appreciate it for what it’s worth. These AP400s don’t come up for sale very often and they aren’t being produced any more. It’s built like a fine clock and should provide a lifetime of excellent performance.

Price: $4,450, Postal Money orders requested. I will ship USPS 3-day priority insured mail (CONUS only), well padded and securely boxed, on receipt of payment.

Thanks for looking
John Piper
