Takahashi FS128 (serial number 97004) with 2.7” focuser and 2” compression ring adapter. Lens is mint - it has been kept with a dessicant charge in the dewshield to prevent any moisture accumulation or dew spotting on the external element. Zero false color in focus to my eye, exceptional star test and stunning contrast – just a spectacular scope. Mechanically perfect, cosmetically near perfect with a 1-2mm non-through scuff in the dewshield paint if you look hard enough. OTA paint is as new - I had listed it before as having some pinholes in the paint but it was actually just some dust (oops) - I have left the price as low as I had it in the first listing.

Will also include the Tak clamshell ring. The ring is in excellent mechanical condition and was painted black to match the mount it was used with. It does have a few paint chips on it. Also an Orion scope carrying bag that fits the FS128 extremely well (the bag is in excellent condition). Cordura with a padded handle and internal padding to protect the scope in transit.

Asking $3400 firm – buyer pays shipping. I will accept PayPal if buyer pays transaction fees. Please feel free to e-mail with questions. Selling only because I have a few other larger aperture scopes on which I’m focusing (pun intended). This is a great scope at a great price. Would consider trade possibly only for a mint CN-212 package.
