SOLD! THANKS GARY!

ASTROVID 1000 HIGH RESOLUTION VIDEO CAMERA SYSTEM.
COMPACT 1/3 CCD FORMAT
In perfect condition
System use's a unique external control box to allow imager to adjust parameters for low light imaging. Shutter Speed, Gain, Gamma, and others.
Remote imaging possable with this unit. Built in Mic.

F.O.V. The 1/3 SONY ICX054AL does produce a smaller FOV then the Astrovid 2000. However, since both cameras are using the same size monitor the 1000 will give a larger apparent magnification. Making it ideal for moon exploration and plantary observation.

Focal Ratio ICX054AL CCD 9.6um (H) x 7.5um v(V) pixels. Best results for moon f18-25 and f25-40 for planets. ATROVID recommends a TeleVue 3x Barlow on a f10 scope (f30) for planets and a 2x Barlow on a f10 scope (f20) for moon.

Note: ( from ASTROVID 1000 manual) Use of the smaller 1/3 CCD format does not mean that preformance is compromised. The SONY ICX054AL HAD CCD chip remains one of best high res. CCD's on the market. A state of the art interline-transfer chip that outpreforms Sharp and Toshiba auto-gain/auto-shutter cameras.

Also comes with a very solid aluminum carry case, cables, 12volt supply and a few other items. AstroArt Software optional.
This is a great little camera and it works flawlessly. I've had a great deal of fun with it. I do want to upgrade however. Contact me with your questions.
