With a little imagination, I'm sure resourceful DIYer could find a good use for the following item.
I pulled this stepper motor gear assembly from a working HPLC auto injector. The stepper motor is an elite precision products 6-wire model # E1180939. I don' know anything about the motor with regards to power ratings or step size but the frame size looks standard and could be replaced with a newer stepper if need be. The stepper (smaller) gear has 12 notches with the larger gear exhibiting 48. The stepper shaft is 7 mm. The belt itself is a PowerGrip 120XL037. The reduction end bearings appear to be solid with little play. The larger gear also has an optical encoder with equal spacing with one extra indexing slot. The indexing detector is a 3 wire GE model# 8629 H21A2. The shaft OD on the reduced side is 1 cm and is threaded with an inner ID of 5 mm.
