This is a classic Jaegers 4 1/8" refractor. It comes with a Polaris mount on a Quickset tripod, 6 eyepieces and a Jaegers drawing of the scope.
The OTA comes with the original focuser, star diagonal, finder, finder brackets and a new pair of Orion tube rings. The objective is in excellent shape. I see no defects other that a little dust (lint) which is on all the optics. I will leave to the new owner to do the cleaning after the scope arrives. I see no defects in the diagonal, and the finder scope optics are good except for a slight discoloration in the coating of the eye lens of the 25mm reticule eyepiece for the finder which does not effect seeing. The OTA comes with the original drawing from Jaegers. It does not come with a dew shield, but if asked I will provide some 0.02” thick fiberglass and flocking material that I use for dew shields on my other scopes.
It comes with the following 1 1/4" Jeagers eyepieces: 55mm (rare), 32mm Erfle, 3/4", 1/2", 15mm and 6mm. The 55mm, 3/4" and 1/2" are in like new condition and may never have been used. The 32mm Erfle is an amazing eyepiece. It gives the widest "space walk" views I have ever seen in a 1 1/4" eyepiece. A previous Astromart seller said that this type Jaegers eyepiece was ex-military and uses exotic glass. I would not give it up except that I have two of the military versions I plan to use in a binoviewer someday. It is in very good condition with dings and scratches from use, but the optics are excellent. The 15mm and 6mm have dings and scratches from use, but I see no defects in the optics. The 3/4", 1/2", 15mm and 6mm come in their original boxes.
The mount is a Celestron Polaris mount with clock drive. It has a special adapter to use with a Quickset Sampson tripod. The tripod has a crank to raise the mount up to 18". This allows you to sit comfortably while you point this long refractor to any point in the sky. The mount has a shaft and a sliding 8 pound counterweight from a CG5 mount rather than the threaded shaft and weight that comes with the Polaris mount. The mount is a little small for this long of a scope (it would be perfect for a 4" APO), but settling time is around 2 seconds and I had no trouble using it visually. Performance could probably be improved by tightening the tensioner holding the legs and by using vibration damping pads.
This scope is a great performer. The moon at up to 400x is incredible. You can search for Jaegers in the refractors forum to see what I think about the scope. I’m selling it because I have too many scopes and need the money. It has been replaced by a Questar 7. The first one to offer the full price with Paypal payment gets it. After a couple days I will consider other offers and forms of payment. I will not break up the set at this time. I will pay for shipping in the continental United States. For Hawaii and Alaska, I will pay the first $25. I will not ship to addresses outside the US.
