I have been the original owner of this telescope for barely over a year. This is a great scope for beginners and seasoned veterans alike. It provides some of the best lunar and planetary images as well as pulling in many of the deep sky objects as well.

Its 150mm center-marked parabolic mirror has a long 1200mm focal length (f/8), which delivers 60% greater magnifying power than a 750mm “short” reflector using the same eyepiece, and with less edge-of-field distortion (coma). Furthermore, the 6LT’s small secondary obstruction compared to rich-field reflectors gives it clarity and contrast approaching that of a 5" refractor. That makes for some incredible planetary and lunar images!

This telescope is equipped with the TrueTrack Single-Axis Drive system for tracking night time objects across the sky. It is also equipped with the optional polar alignment scope to make the drive system even more accurate.

The following items are included with the scope:
- 10mm Sirius Plössl Eyepiece
- 25mm Sirius Plössl Eyepiece
- TrueTrack Single-Axis Drive system
- 6 x 30 Finder Scope
- Polar Alignment Scope for SVP mount ($50 value)

This telescope was originally purchased with the Dual-Axis drive system but the DEC motor was damaged at one point. This drive could easily be replaced with another one from Orion (cost $45) so the telescope would once again be a Dual-Axis drive system. I still have the original drive which I will include with the telescope but be aware that it has been modified in an attempt to repair and I doubt Orion would fix it at this point.

The optics, mount and tripod are all in great condition other than a few scratches from typical use.
