Well, the whole package didn't sell, so I am reducing the prices a little and listing the pieces from my previous ad separately. This is the HD mount that Apogee is currently selling for $160. I've used this a little (maybe been out 10 times in the last 6 months or so). Includes

mount head
~10 lb. counterweight
illuminated polar axis scope
stock aluminum tripod
homemade tripod leg stabilizer
Orion True Trak Single axis RA drive (with hand controller, battery pack, and car cord)

It's a decent mount for visual use (there's a little backlash in the head, this can be reduced if you tighten the worms a hair, at the expense of stiffer slo-mo controls). From what I was told this has sleeve bearings (like the first-generation CG-5). The tripod is really the weak link (the leg stabilizer reduces vibration damping times from 5-6 seconds to 2-3 seconds with a 9 lb 5" f/8 refractor OTA and the legs 2/3 extended), and the mount could probably handle a bigger scope with a beefier tripod.

I paid over $240 for the mount & drive (plus misc hardware and a little labor).

I'll let it go for $190 shipped in the continental US. (So basically you get a free RA drive and leg-locker for the price of a new one).

Sold to Bob-Thanks!
