Here's some details on my Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain, I have reduced the price one last time. I would like to sell to move onto my next scope.

14.25" Primary Mirror(F/2.14) with StarBright Coatings, mirror lock
F/11 Focal Ratio
3910mm Focal Length
StarBright Coatings
Optics are as close to mint condition as you will find, no dirt, fog or other obstructions
Secondary Mirror Obstruction 4.5" or 10% area
Motorized Focus - Variable speed
2 speed Slewing RA / DEC (57 sec/degree & 27 sec/degree)
Tracking Motor and worm gear recently cleaned & serviced.
(Tracks perfectly with only my quick 5 minute alignment)
Solid Heavy Duty Fork Mount (sand cast aluminum type 356-T6), no Zenith flip as with EQ mounts
Solid Wedge for lat 21 deg to 60 deg (26lbs)
Solid Heavy Duty Tripod (33 lbs)
OTA, Black, Sand cast front/rear cells, aluminum tube
Telrad View Finder
Comes with Celestron 2" Star Diagonal, 1.25" reduce, Counterweight bars, tele-extender, T-adapter, cords, control boxes, manual, setting circles...etc

It is currently installed on a pier in an Observatory. I'm the second owner. There is a minor scratch in the paint on the OTA from first owner, only cosmetic. Incredable faint fuzzy light gathering. Naked eye views of M51 or others is worth the extra apperature.

It can be easily setup and taken down by one person, I have done it on a few occasion by myself. Each component weights under 50lbs. Set up with a friend will avoid scratching the OTA on the side of the fork thou.

Thanks for looking,

Email me for pictures and other details.
