Hello all,
This is the popular Meade LXD-55 mount with the AutoStar Goto system. It is an excellent visual and planetary imaging platform. Not recommended for long exposure deep sky imaging. Many different scopes can be adapted to this mount using readily available clamping rings.
This particular mount has been mechanically HyperTuned for extemely smooth operation. The final AutoStar tweeks have not yet been completed due to poor Michigan weather and my busy schedule. The process is fully explained in the manual and must be done outdoors. I will also send along the HyperTune DVD (PC version). The DVD explains EVERY component, adjustment, and aspect of the mount. This mount comes complete with 2 counter weights, the AutoStar Goto, adjustable tripod, original dovetail plate, battery pack, manual, and HyperTune DVD.
The mount will ship in the original box and packaging.
I am asking $475.00 including shipping CONUS. PayPal prefered (never a surcharge).
If you happen to need the optional 10" rings for an SN-10" OTA, I'll send them along for an additional $25.00.****SOLD****
Thank you,
