This is a repost, now the entire scope is for sale. I need to remain more mobile than I originally thought as I'm graduating. I love this thing, but will be on the move and won't have room.

Regarding delivery: Must be local. I'll be in Champaign, IL (at U of I campus) through 15 May, and in the Chicago suburbs for the duration of the summer months on break. I'd be willing to drive a *reasonable* distance to meet someone from Chicago.

$525, obo includes:

1) 6" LXD55 f/5 SN OTA w/UHTC - a few cosmetic scratches, perfect optics.

2) LXD55 mount, Meade 497 computer

3) Aluminum factory tripod - I will retrive and mail the spreader plate from Chicago; left it at home on accident.

4) Rubbermaid Plastic Footlocker with some of the original shipping foam. It fits snuggly, pinned in place. The original factory cardboard was in *BAD* shape when it arrived, but the scope itself has functioned perfectly.

5) Factory 2" adapter and camera ring

6) Orion 6" Dew Zapper w/12V auto-style plug adapter

7) 12 foot power cord - original spliced to make a 12 foot cord w/12V auto adapter

8) Serial cable for updating/controlling the computer

9) 4 extra batteries for the polar alignment scope
Note: Meade just replaced the LED unit on the polar scope. It's now muc nicer, compared to the old steel knob style switch that was on there. New switch is now variable brightness and has a definitive 'click' for off.

10) Orion?? Red Dot finder - I'll include this, but it's up to you to mount it. Doesn't line up perfectly with the OTA screws. No factory finder is included!

$525 obo takes the cake. Feel free to call or email!

Thanks for looking,
