I don't know the history other than I bought it from a club in FL.
I bought it for resale. It's a nice functioning telescope that is a seven out of ten cosmetically. The good news, Steve Swayze just finished refiguring the primary mirror. Should produce jaw dropping views of the planets and fantastic views of deep space objects. The bad news, here is a chip in the side of the primary and there are some small (less than 1/2 inch) scratches probably made from a mirror clip close to one edge. The focuser is a craford style. the secondary is 3.1 inch. Also the primary is full thickness (3&1/4"), Steve says that the glass alone is around $900 if you can find it anymore. No telrad or finder.
Asking $2200. plus shipping and ins. Sorry no paypal. Money order or will hold personal check untill it clears.
Thank you for looking, Dark skies Joe R.
