This is a 80mm f/11 achromatic refractor imported from Japan by Meade in the 1980's (1.25" fittings). This is before Meade (and others) starting bringing in the cheaper, lesser quality Chinese scopes. This scope was probably made by Towa (but possibly Vixen).
This scope produces superb images and will provide a lifetime of fine planetary/lunar/deep viewing pleasure. It is very solidly built as I hope you can see from the new photos. The images quality is fantastic with crisp, bright, high contrast views. The only "problems" are some cosmetics on the tube to which I have applied Astro Pro Products Meade touch-up paint.
Price: $160 plus $17 shipping in the U.S. Overseas shipping OK, but this will probably cost extra. PayPal or money order. Thanks, Steve
