When I was 15 (that would be 1967) I built a 6" f/10 reflector using parts from Edmund Scientific and a mirror from Jaegers. I've been carrying this tube around for 37 years and finally decided to let it go. I was going to take it very reluctantly (sentimental value) to the dump but thought that maybe someone could use it. It's aluminum, the inside is painted black, and holes are drilled for a focuser and a mirror cell. You can see the old Edmund focuser is still attached to it. As a bonus, you can have the original mirror (in great condition - amazing after all these years!) and the mirror cell. It is for pick up only. I live in the Sacramento area. Thanks.
