I bought this as a project and never got around to it. I got it from a nature photographer. He had bondoed the body (the green color) to a large tripod mounting plate. (I attached this plate to my own mounting plate). This scope has an erecting prism in the vertical viewing port. The rear port is threaded for SCT accessories - you just need a visual back to attach an eyepiece or a diagonal. (No visual back supplied). I added a #1247 electric focuser (a $120 option), and a home-made dewshield that slides over the tube, and a lens cover (original is not with the scope).
The optics are quite good, the mirror is in very good shape, the corector is unmarked, with a little dust. The flip mirror works smoothly but is a little off the target when viewing through the rear port (just not quite centered, still in the FOV of a 20mm pl). There is focus shift, but the motorized focuser keeps it within the FOV, and with 2 speeds, its both quick and fine, and runs off a 9v battery.
This is a good knock-around scope, second scope, kid's scope. Great to take into the field to spot with, very capable at high magnifications, or to take to public star parties (I did that twice, makes it a non-worry event, and double stars look great). I'll include a 25mm Plossl (Celestron SMA) and a Ultima 2x barlow, both used and optically fine.
