DF "Flak" Binoculars 10x80 Blue Triangle DKL Red X Serial number 72005_To you who are not familiar with these glasses._ These are the famous DF "Flak" binoculars used in World War 2, to spot troop movements, aircraft identification, and naval ship identification._This is an extremly collectible binocular especially due to the following list of **rare accessories._ First they come with the Original Wooden "**Field" Box,_ The original Sun Shades, _ The original **Aiming Circle w/ Radium paint for night use,_ The Head Rest and to top it off,_The original **Tripod. _ I had a custom made piece, used between the tripod and binocular dove tail base. This was machined out of billet aluminum at a cost of $250. By Angeles Machine here in Port Angleles. It is pinned and set._I have had these for over TEN years and have been cleaned and collimated by Kevin Kune (Hope I spelled your last name right Kevin). _These glasses are superb_I can go on and on about their quality but I am sure the whoever buys them will no doubt agree that these glasses are without doubt the finest DF's, that have come available in a long time_PERFECT_ To let you know these are heavy and its not the type of glasses you hang around your neck and go. The box alone with the binoculars and all the goodies weigh 32 pounds the tripod weighs 14.3 pounds _These would do well if your house overlooks a spectular vista. _For Birding its amazing. _ I see things at such a great distance it is fantastic._ Buy them if you can, if not you loose out on a chance to own not just binoculars, but the history involved concerning the use of them. _ My asking price is $3575.00 _Please send me your e-address and I wil send you JPG images of these binoculars.
