This is a Meade 50mm 350mm (.965 accs.) scope for the youngster in the family (beats having them play around with the Tak or TV). Metal tube but most of the focuser is a plastic material. It has 3 Kellner eps and a barlow along with a suprisingly nice little case.
It also comes with a tabletop tripod which may be ok for daytime spotting (?) but useless at night - it does have a standard tripod mounting block. I used this at the lower powers and was suprised that the images were pretty good. The 3x barlow provided is also usless but the Kellners (9, 12, 17.5) were not bad for this type of scope (ie - they are not typical plastic junk). A .965 45 degree diagonal is also provided. I think it might make a nice first kids scope without costing lots of $$.
$35 includes shipping to you in the Conus. Thanks for looking.
