Novak 9-point flotation cell for 10" mirrors. Measures for a 12" I.D. tube.

I did some research in the archives and people seem to like these quite a bit. I'd gladly use it except it isn't a good fit on my latest funky and groovy truss scope project (no tube wall to attach to). I'd hate to hack apart a perfectly good cell.

Could be shimmed for larger tubes or conceivably ground/cut down for smaller tubes. The side brackets slide to fit a 9" mirror without modification, or if you are handy you can drill and tap new screw holes to expand the brackets for an 11" mirror, and even move the triangle supports out a little if you wanted. Safety clips adjust for ~1-3/8" to 2" mirror thickness.

Sand cast, sturdy aluminum. Comes with hardware and instructions. I don't think this has ever been used.

How about $50.00? (I think these cost around $135 new, so this is a pretty good deal, I think).

Thanks!

Lee
