High quality, 2“ 35mm WA (67°) Eyepiece - Made in Germany
99.- Euro (currently about 128.- US$) + shipping
7 SOLD - some more left

Focal length: 35mm
Field of view: 67°
Eye relief: about 18mm
Weight: about 1300grams
Barrel: 2“
Diopter Adjustment,

This is a heavy (1300grams) Wide Angle eyepiece from Steinheil Germany.
It offers the same specs as a TeleVue 35mm/68° Panoptic . I compared it side by side with the 35mm Panoptic
And it compares VERY FAVORABELY with this high end eyepiece.
The eyepiece comes from a factory new military range finder. It is multicoated, has a built in aiming recticle which can be adjusted illuminated and removed (I can do that for you, if you want me to). It features diopter adjustments.
It has been supplied with a 2“ barrel for astronomical use.
Tests on an f7 Brandon 94/660mm apo showed:
Transmission and contrast: The Panoptic appears to be a bit brighter, but only a bit.
At f7 edge sharpness of the Steinheil is even a bit better than the already sharp Panoptic:
The Steinheil offers good sharpness from center to about 55°, good-fair sharpness from 55-67°
The Panoptic offers good sharpness from center to about 50°, good-fair sharpness from 50° - 68°
Eye relief of the Steinheil is about 18mm – rubber eyegard can be removed for eyeglas wearers
Image curvature of the Panoptic is clearly visible, whereas the Steinheil appears to have a totally even field!! No curvature detectable!

I am selling the Steinheil since I own a few of them (I will keep one !!). You will receive a factory new one.
The images show the Steinheil (center) side by side with a TeleVue Panoptic and a Zeiss 30mm/85° Wide Angle just to give you an impression of
it`s dimensions.

Shipping worldwide. More information and pictures on request.
Economy mail to US/Canada is 12,30 Euro
