I apologize for emails that where not respond. Actually I did respond but I had problems with my internet service.

"NOTE": I can not send pictures because I do not have a digital camera or the scope would be sold long time ago.

These scope have 1/8 wave optics so it's better than many other MN66 that are 1/6 or 1/7 wave. The proof of that is that you will be able to see during good seeing Saturn at 600X or the moon at the same or more magnification using the Televue 5X or 4X powermate with Radians, good plossl, or Orthos.

The originall owner drilled Three 1 1/2" diameter holes on the OTA above the primary mirror and install fans on it. I removed them more than 2 years ago and cover then with pollen filters. The OTA still looks good and cools down in one hour or less.

The performance is great and the optics are as good as you can get. The color resolution is better than Apos refractors. These scope bet the Traveler in every object.

The OTA includes the mounting ring, factory dew shield, and a Vixen 6X30 or Antares 8X50 view finder.

I just purchase a used MN86

I will not respond email questions but answer any you may have by phone. The best time to call me is between 8:00 to 10:00 PM Pacific time
