12.5" f9 RCOS ritchie chretien tube assemble with great optics, 1/6+ ptv optics by Star instruments with interferogram, Electronic Servo focuser with handcontroller, active cooling fans specially balanced for vibration free operation by finger lakes instruments plus variable power supply, Fixed instrument adapter with assorted extension tubes for rigid mounting of cameras and diagonal. Completely refurbished less than one year: newly refinished (shiney black) carbon fiber tube with twin losmandy dovetail plates, optics recoated by spectrum coating with enhances aluminum, and reanodized backplate (had turned brown). Also includes new telrad. I purchased this a year ago and have used it just a few times. This is the same scope used by Bill McLaughlin for most of his great CCD images in S&T/Astronomy magazine. I will also include a custom wooden case with hi-density foam padding for storage/transport (cannot be shipped) as well as a Dew-Zee velvet lined tube baffle. Other than a couple of small scratches on the tube, the scope is in excellent condition, collimated and ready for use. Cost new is close to $15K, Sell $11,700. Would also consider trade for AP155EDF/EDFS plus cash. Prefer pickup or will meet halfway for sale. Email serious inquiries only and for jpegs.
