FOR SALE: FOR THE "GOTO" TYPE OF TELESCOPE USERS THAT DO NOT HAVE THE USE OF A COMPUTER AT THEIR TELESCOPE IN ORDER TO GUIDE THEIR SCOPES TO A SELECTED STAR, OTHER THAN WHAT MAY BE IN THEIR MANUAL EITHER BY GIVEN NAME OR NUMBER, THIS GUIDE IS TO FILL THAT VOID.FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU ARE USING EITHER A PLANISPHERE OR STAR ATLAS, YOU MAY BE LOOKING AT A STAR SUCH AS ZETA ORIONIS AND WOULD LIKE TO VIEW THAT STAR AND TRY TO ENTER IT AS "ZETA ORIONIS" THE TELESCOPE WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE, BUT IF YOU ENTER THE NUMBER FROM EITHER THE HIPPARCOS OR SAO CATALOG THE SCOPE ACCEPTS THAT NUMBER AND WILL SLEW TO THAT STAR.
I HAVE COMPILED SUCH A LIST OF OVER 1800 STARS TO FIFTH MAGNITUDE FROM BOTH THE HIPPARCOS AND SAO CATALOGS. THIS LIST CAN BE USED WITH USERS OF LX 200 CLASSIC, LX 200 GPS OR ANY OTHER TELESCOPE THAT ACCEPTS THOSE CATALOG NUMBERS.
THIS GUIDE IS PRESENTED IN LOOSE LEAF FORMAT TO BE USED IN ANY THREE
HOLE BINDER FOR YOUR CONVIENCE.
THIS GUIDE IS YOURS SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR (CONUS) FOR $15.00 (REDUCED PRICE) VIA PRIORITY MAIL.
IF NOT SATISFIED, RETURN IT FOR A FULL REFUND LESS ACTUAL POSTAGES.
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND CLEAR SKIES,
