Local San Francisco Bay Area Sale only:
This Losmandy G11 mount has served me extremely well as an imaging platform, but alas; I have gone back to observing. . . I'm looking to sell this--and all the accessories--to a local astro-imager in need of a wonderful mount with all the niceties, save GOTO. Images taken with this setup (CCD and film) can be viewed on "Ray Cash's Astro-Images"(plug this into Google, in other words). Everything is in very good to excellent condition: "used, but not abused." Here are the specs, and current (new) value of some of the accessories:
--Mount made by Losmandy for Celestron.
--I've added bearings to the RA and DEC axis; and just (today) re-lubed them: SMOOTH!
--Adjustable leg tripod set with "leg clamp lever set" <NOT pictured below> (LCLS--$82.50). Legs also come with three hand-made cloth sacks for scratch-free transport.
--Hand knobs to attach mini-pier to EQ head (TKS--$33.75).
--Polar scope (PS--$165.00).
--Tri-pronged "clutch knob set" (CKS--$112.50).
--"Aluminum motor covers" (AMC--$90).
--"Side by side plate" (DSBS--$240).
--Pair of 125mm (5") rings (for guide scope) with four prong adjustment. (DR125--$150).
--"Universal dovetail plate" (DUP--$75).
--Male-to-male dovetail plate (DMM--$75): I have three of these!
--Two-axis camera platform (DCM-1--$112.50).
--Two 15lb. Stainless steel counterweights, plus a couple of Losmandy cast-iron ones.
--Extra set of motors, hand-controller, electronic "black box," cables.
--ATA case for EQ head.
--Marine grade battery (pictured below).
--80mm f/11 Japanese-made Celestron "Firstscope."
--Everything above: $1600.
--SBIG ST-4 (pictured below) also available to buyer of above. Others: please do not contact me about the ST-4; I want to sell the G11 first: I will NOT put you on a list! Price of ST-4 (to buyer of mount): $500.
Local SF Bay Area only, please.
