Wanted: Info on what this part for a Taurus Tracker III might be

This came as an extra with a unit I just acquired. I suspect (from looking at the Taurus website, although not much can be told from the pictures and not all items are pictured) that it is either:

1. camera port adapter ACS, or,
2. camera port adapter AHC

Part ACS has male threads to match an 8" SCT.
Part AHC mates the Taurus to the HyperCamera.

I have never had either an 8" or the HyperCamera so am unfamilar with how they attach, or the adapters used. I'll try to give you some measurements;
The main body is 1" wide, including the groove area that slips inside the Taurus body.
On the opposite end from the groove, there is a male threaded step that is slightly more than 1/4" wide, making the total width a little more than 1 1/4". Inside diameter of this step is a little more than 1 11/16", outside diameter is 2". There are no threads on the inside at either end.

I'd really appreciate any help in pinning this down. Also, if you know what it is and want to buy it, most of these sell for $37. I'll ship it for $27. It looks un-used.

Many thanks,
