I have had this scope on order since November and since then I have chosen a different scope that is more appropriate for my viewing (i.e more portable for my needs). The freight company left me a message yesterday requesting a delivery appt. for the telescope listed in this ad. So I'm making an attempt to sell this on astromart BEFORE trying to return to the dealer. I would prefer to sell to someone in the Atlanta area as they could accompany me to the freight company inspect the scope and consumate the transaction. I'm aware that I have no feedback on astromart though for someone local the opportunity is there to inspect the packaging, bill of lading, and equipment configuration before buying. I'm pricing the scope at $4700.00 in the local Atlanta area only. Presently this scope as configured is $5045 plus shipping plus sales tax (if applicable to your state). If you are outside the Atlanta area and are interested I'm sure arrangements can be made to forward to your location as the scope is still in possession of the freight company. This is an opportunity to own this brand new sealed scope at a significant savings. By the way there will be a $300 price increase from Meade on this scope effective March 1. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have or discuss further when you call. Please call only if you're genuinely interested. Thankyou for looking.
