** SOLD **

I bought this on Astromart assuming it would fit my Meade 8" SCT, but discovered that it will only fit a Celestron. That'll teach me to make assumptions...

The set is in excellent condition except for a small (2x3mm) chip in the paint on the 2.5# weight, as shown in the photo.

The small insert in the upper right portion of the photo shows how the weight system is used on a Celestron fork-mounted SCT tube (the system will not work with a GEM-mounted scope). The illustration shows a system with two 2.5# pancake weights, the system I'm selling has one weight only.

The system would be perfect for balancing a small piggy-backed scope or camera, a binoviewer, or a heavy 2" diagonal and eyepiece. If you need to balance a heavier load, additional 2.5# weights are available from various online retailers, including ATWB.

I've reduced the price to $50 firm. I will include UPS Ground shipment to an address in CONUS.

I will accept PayPal (add $2), a postal money order, or a personal check from a highly-rated Astromarter.

Thanks for looking!
J.D.
