Sorry Sold! - Thanks Ross!
I currently have 3 Eps in this focal length. - 2 are pictured below. Just to be honest, this 40mm Celestron Axiom is just ever so much less desirable than my Pentax 40mm XL. - This 40mm Axiom is in excellent condition, but has the very smallest of set-screw marks on the chrome barrel - (about 2 - the optics are perfect! - If I would not have told you, you might have thought this EP to be unused.)... This EP is *NOT* the same as the U/O MK-70, as they are made in a different factory altogether... This according to Gary Hand in a recent post of his; (Hands on Optics).
This is a 7 element highly corrected EP. The older 7/70 was indeed a 7 element EP, and is to my mind the same as this 40mm Axiom (I have owned both) I actually beleive that this is the 7/70, but with upgraded coatings.

To their credit, U/O does state that the MK-70 is "almost" as good as their discontinued *7/70*

You may have noticed that I have 2 EPs pictured in this ad... Now you know why I am selling. *Only* to the Axiom, does this ad apply:-) If you are interested, *both* of these Eps provide the same "true field of view". - Almost "exactly"!... The field stops on both are just so thin.

For the 40mm Celestron Axiom: - First $170 by PayPal gets it by Priority Mail! (that's about $120 off of the "street price. The 41mm Pan is *NOT* for sale!)... Sorry, but she's mine, at least for awhile:-)

So why am I selling this Axiom instead of the Pentax? The Pentax is a 'little bit' better at the edge, and I do want to keep 'one' lighter 2" EP, as this 41mm Pan is just too heavy for most of my scopes.

I will ship anywhere in the world for my actual shipping costs, plus the stated price above, but you must have PayPal for fast payment.

Thanks for looking, and hope you have a great day!
