--------------SOLD -----Thank you David. See you tomorrow night!---------------I am forced to sell my Discovery Truss Design Dobsonian Telescope! This telescope has never been taken to the field but used only in my backyard! I have seen the dust lanes in Andromeda, 5th star in the trapezium of M42, and the crepe ring on saturn with this telescope in my backyard of Aliso Viejo, CA! I am offering the scope at a slight discount to new but is immediately available. It is a 17.5" f/5 and has an outstanding mirror. Tony and Daphne Hallas have used Discovery mirrors and produced outstanding astrophotos using them. I have installed a JMI NGC Max computer and high resolution encoders on the declination and right ascension and they work perfectly on the scope. If you are looking for a serious observing package and want to gather outrageous light, this is for you. It transports easily, sets up quickly and collimates in a couple of minutes. I will also include a helix Laser collimater and a complete set of collimation tools. Here's the catch, I cannot ship this, it must be picked up or I can meet the buyer within a reasonable distance in Southern California. I'll work with you on this. Asking $3500.00 complete. Includes light shroud and wheelie bars made from solid maple with inflatable wheels (a $200.00 added option).
