Recently aluminized and coated 16" f-6 primary mirror measures 16.3 inches and 3.2 inches(80mm) thick, 50lbs. the mirror is a surplus extra thick mirror from a military project that has been cancelled. I believe it might be from the Nike program but no guarantees. There is one ding on the edge that needs to be corrected with a black magic marker. I don't have any specs but tested before it was first used and not found to have any ridges or such, Very smooth. And has a good figure but has not been measured. It has been in use for many years by our Astronomy club and has served very well in that capacity serving up breath taking images.
Included a 3" secondary mirror mounted in a truss DOB enclosure complete with 4 vane adjustable spider and 2" Crayford focuser with 1.25" adapter. Also have the aluminum truss poles. We are trying to raise money for a new telescope for the club members to use and show the public. Asking $1200.00 offers considered.
