Meade 8 inch Schmidt-Newtonian LXD55 with UHTC coatings and Autostar. Only used twice since purchased new in March of 2003. Includes all original equipment (26mm eyepiece, mount, tripod, Autostar controller, etc.) Also includes laser collimater (Orion $70) and AC-DC power supply ($50)and all original documentation. Excellent like new condition. I'm a beginning astronomy hobbyist and this was purchased as a present for my husband and I to use together. BUT we both have too many other interests and too little time to make use of this wonderful telescope. It should be used - not sitting in my living room. In addition I have some large un-expected house repair expenses coming up so need to sell this beautiful item. Asking $750. For more information on this telescope see the Meade Web site. I have all the original shipping boxes but would prefer not to have to pack it all up so a pick-up at my home in Kalamazoo, Michigan is preferred. I'd be willing to drive up to 100 miles to meet the buyer if that is preferred. $750 cash or cashier's check or money order is accepted as payment. If shipping is necessary buyer will pay for all shipping and packaging costs. Please contact me via phone (269-349-4136) or reply to this ad. Thank you.
