Get started with a beginner CCD setup that is ready to go right out of the box (once you figure out flat frames of course).

SAC 8 camera is an excellent starter CCD w/ an extremely sensitive chip goes down to mag 17+ in 30 sec on my 12" in urban skies! Comes with 1.25" nose cone, all the standard software and controller box.

ThinkPad is a 1400 iSeries PII 366 with 256 RAM, 8 G HD, CD/DVD
Outfit also includes:
PCMCIA 801b wireless network card
PCMCIA USB port doubler (gives you two more USB ports)
PCMCIA Ethernet Card (10baseT)

Software Included
WinXP upgrade CD and Manuals
($199 upgrade but much more stable than Win98, better power management and remote desktop makes it easy to operate system from indoors via network.)
Win98 and recovery CDs
AstroVideo for SAC 8

Also loaded on the drive for you to test (but I am keeping the licenses):
Photoshop 6.0
Office 2000
AstroArt 3.0
MiximDL CCD 2.0
StarryNight Pro 3.0 and 4.0

Again, these are loaded and work for you to tryout, but if you plan on using them, you will need your own licenses.

Asking $1300 plus shipping for the whole setup or feel free to make me an offer. Checks, MO, or PayPal (with no penalty!) If there is no interest at this price, I may keepthe setup for guiding.

I will be out of town starting Sunday, so if it is still around by the weekend, I will ship it to the lucky offerer the latter part of next week.
