MI-750F Equatorial Fork with 16-inch f/10
The MI-750F equatorial fork mount is now avaibale with a 16-inch f/10 Cassegrain. The optics are by Tom Scott (the optician who did the 12-inch Simaks some years ago). The primary mirror is f/3.2. There are no better Cassegrain optics available.
The MI-750F is designed for permanant installation. It provide the rigidity and performance for serious astronomical observation. With cluches on both axis for easy setup, the MI-750F includes a 15 inch worm drive with a 12-inch drive in declination. This 300 pound mount has a 200+ pound capacity in the Fork configuration. The MI-750 is also available in a German equatorial configuration, the MI-750G with a 250+ pound capacity.
The MI-750 comes with the the AstroPhyscis GTO for full computer control.
