Have you ever looked on the big APOchromatic refractors but realized that you can't afford the price tag? I have a ChromacorII and 120/1000 achromat for sale.
I improved the scope: the poopy Konus orange color was professionally sandblasted and tube powdercoated in off-white. The inside of the focuser, tube and lens cell was painted ultra-black. The lens had edge blackened and Protostar flocking paper is lining the lens cell and first part of the tube. The focuser was reworked with new UHTF lining pads, cleaned off the "glue" and lithium greased. The APM 2" collet adapter makes sure collimation stays perfect. Everything was put together and checked with laser and Cheshire (see pics)
Includes OTA, a matched ChromacorII unit, a 6x30 finder, APM collet adapter, AstroPhysics 2"->1.25" adapter, tube rings, mounting plate, collimation target, instructions.
