Parsec-12 equatorial mount. Designed and built by Kevin Medlock of EPOCH Instruments. Only 10 ever made. Well engineered and solid. Can handle up to a 12" newt or C-14 or large refractor. This is the mount I used for the hour+ long exposure schmidt camera photos that appeared in Sky&Tel.

Weight of equatorial head approx 65 lbs. (can come apart in two sections) 9" diameter RA gear, 7" long DEC tangent arm. Total weight of mount approx 130 lbs before counter weights or scope added.

2 foot high x 6" diameter steel pier. 3 cast aluminum legs with 3/4" leveling screws.. Az & Alt adjust for polar alignment. Includes 2 counterweights.

Mount is wired with encoders and includes small SkyVector and cable for digital readout of RA/DEC.

A smooth AC synchronous motor in RA, and 12V DC motor for DEC. Includes Davionix drive corrector and hand paddle.

Shown with 8" f/1.5 Schmidt camera (not included).
This mount is rock solid and designed for astrophotography. This is not a GOTO mount.

Prefer Pickup in San Francisco Bay area, or can meet within reasonable driving distance.
Price: $2500
