This is a repost and a lower price too.
This is a classic Jaegers doublet. It is an excellant scope! It gives fantastic deep-sky views. It is not a planetary scope but have gotten good results on Mars. I bought it intending to use a chromacor filter for Mars. I can't afford that.

The scope is in pretty good shape but there are a few scratches on the tube from normal use. The last owner says there is one very thin , almost invisible half inch scratch on the objective that does not affect views. I have never seen it but I never looked either. Optically, the scope pretty good lines in the Ronchi. The star test looks It also has a Jaegers 2.7" focuser. No diagonal.

Also included are a nice custom made padded oak carry/storage case, a set of generic 7 inch rings, and a 6x30 Parks finder painted to match the scope.

This scope is huge and I don't use it much. It deserves a better home than I can give it plus I need the money!! I'm asking $650 plus shipping. I also have a Meade LXD 55 mount that I would sell with the scope for a total price of $1000. I would rather sell as a package but make me an offer.
Thanks for looking, Andre D. Coleman

PS Optically, the Jeager lens are superior to the Synta type refractor
