This FC60NZ is every bit the small refractor reviewed on various sites. With a 60mm aperture and a focal length of 500mm the FC60NZ is great for a grab and go or a guide scope. The planetary images are amazing! Mars last night was fantastic at 125X. I have the original carton along with the 5 X 25 finder, finder bracket, Borg 1.25" adapter, extension, new tube bracket and caps. The telescope was manufactured in 1994 and is in fantastic condition with only a minor paint chip on the OTA, which you can see in the photograph near the dew shield. The finder has the usual minor marks from the finder bracket screws. I wrap the finder in electrical tape to minimize the occurrence of this - you can see the black tape in the photograph. The optics are untouched with only a couple of dust particles.

The Light Speed DSP-T from Charles Riddel is truly a piece of art. Properly balanced this refractor or any other small wide field telescope becomes part of you moving effortlessly through the sky. The machining on the mount is second to none. Along with the mount there is a slotted dovetail to attach to the refractor. There are minor oxidation marks on the face of the mount under the clear hard anodizing. Unfortunately, this is one of the drawbacks to clear. The mount is only 5 months old and in as new condition. Cloudynights has a great review of this mount buried along with a review of the Wagon mount.

I am most interested in a trade for a like new Losmandy with accessories, encoders, covers, DSC etc. If you have a digital ready GM-8, G-11 or other high end GEM and want to move to a special grab and go this is the deal for you.

If you were interested in a purchase I would entertain offers in excess of $1200 for the combination as described plus shipping. I prefer PayPal. If you fund the deal with a credit card though please add 3% for the additional fees.

Thanks for looking,

Kent
