Universal Astronomics UniMount Heavy Duty
$529 new, asking $429 shipped. Like-new condition.

Universal Astronomics makes the best binocular mounts. This is the heavy-duty model, supporting up to 12 pounds and ideal for most astronomical binoculars. It will also hold small telescopes up to the same weight. I like the Unimount for small scopes as well as binoculars because it enables you to do wide-field scanning with extreme ease and comfort.

* Carries any binocular or small scope up to 12 pounds.
* All teflon bearings.
* Universal mounting for left or right hand use.
* Head rotates in azimuth 360 degrees for a unique "flip" feature for reversing direction of viewing, or viewing beyond the zenith.
* All aluminum welded construction.
* True fluid one-handed operation, with no locks necessary.
* Quick and easy assembly.
* Original design counter-weight assembly with convenient stow position.

* Comes with 20 lbs of counterweight instead of the stock 15 lbs.
* Includes adapter bracket for attaching your binocular holder.
Additional adapters available from Universal Astronomics.
* Tripod adapter for Bogen tripods.

See ad for Bogen tripod model 3236, an ideal tripod for the Unimount. Will sell both together for $599 shipped.
