I have an Obession 20" with a Torus mirror. I recieved the scope in January 2002. The mirror was sent back January 2003, to be re-figured and re-coated. I recieved it back in May 2003. Here are the Specs:
*P-V .176
*RMS .020
*Strehl 0984
*Tested on the wavefront at 633nm
The star test on this mirror is Fantastic!
The Obsession comes with a 99% Super-Brite secondary.
This scope has:
*Starlight Feather touch focaser
*NGC-max setting circles and computer (installed by Obsession)
*Nylon light shroud
*Wheel barrell handles
*Astrocrum filter slide
*Markless counter weight system
*Kendrick dew removal system
The only modification that I made was on one pole to hide the wires. I put one hole on the top end and one on the bottom end.
I have over $8000 invested and I am looking for $5000. I live in Southern New Hampshire, I would prefer for the scope to be picked up but I will talk about other shipping options.
I also have a 6x8 enclosed trailer that I am willing to sell. I have modified the trailer with alot of storage shelves customised for the scope and all the other equipment needed.
This is your chance to buy one of the best scopes on the market with no wait.
Please email me with any questions.
