Orion 127mm Starmax EQ Package - ** SOLD**

127mm (5”) 1540mm (f12.1) Maksutov-Cassegrain. 9 months old, in like-new condition. Fantastic scope for the money, with wonderful star images-- shows textbook airy disks. The supplied EQ mount is nicely matched and will hold 300x. The entire setup is so light you can safely carry it intact from inside your house (or garage) out to your backyard. On a sturdy tripod it’s the ultimate spotting scope or telephoto lens.

Original Orion Equipment:

AstroView equatorial mount (EQ-3) with polar alignment scope, 25mm Sirius Plossl eyepiece (62x), 6x26 correct-image finder on quick-release dovetail bracket, 45 degree correct-image prism diagonal (for terrestrial viewing), fully-padded carrying case.

Extra Equipment Included:

INTES Mirror Diagonal (~1/7 minimum wave p.t.v. & 94% reflective coatings), Orion flexible dew shield, fine focus knob & quick tube attachment thumbscrews from ScopeStuff.

$550, plus FREE shipping via UPS in CONUS. Package is a $700+ value new. Will sell w/o the INTES diagonal for $475 if you wish (however, you’d have to supply your own star diagonal— but don’t saddle this scope with a cheapie one, please).

Loath to part with it, but must sell to help fund larger scope project. Will be shipped in the original boxes. Accept Money Order or PayPal.
