This scope shares the same wonderful 60mm optics of other small Tak scopes, but is a fairly rare OTA in this country.

Basics: 60 mm objective, 500 mm in focal length. OTA is 80 mm in diameter. Optically, a typical Tak 10 with perfect star test; cosmetically, about an 8+ with no major problems, but some scuffing shows that it is not new. This is a very nice little scope.

Details: It has a sliding drawtube with a range of 3.5 inches with a Borg helical focuser attached for fine focus. With that amount of extension, you can achieve focus straight-thru, with a standard 1.25 star diagonal, and with a 45 degree correct-image diagonal for birding. Also, it reaches focus without the barlow for my Tak Twinview binoviewer (NOT INCLUDED), which screws directly on with the 43mm thread. This scope can ONLY USE 1.25 inch eyepieces or smaller.

Additional: An anodized unpainted Tak tube holder is included, that allows use on a Teegul or on a photo tripod. No finder is included nor can a standard Tak finder be mounted. Maximum FOV is about 3.5 degrees with a low power eyepiece. I will also include a nylon carrying bag, that works well for travel.

I am asking $525 shipped. For $50 more, I can include a Baader solar filter that fits the OTA perfectly. Thanks for looking!

Mike
