Tom Osypowski Equatorial Platform. Mint condition and treated like a baby every time. Single axis platform with Polar alignment finder. Takes scopes up to 14 inches. No hands operation for up to 60 to 65 minutes. Includes optional gel-cell 12 volt battery and charger. Hand paddle for fine adjustment.

With the polar alignment finder, you can accurately polar align your Equatorial Platform in a minute or less. Just attach the polar alignment tool to the south end of your Platform, look through the viewfinder of the unit power finder, and center Polaris by moving the Platform. This can be done with the telescope on or off the Platform. Easy as cake. Takes about one minute. After that, you center the dob on an object and it stays in the eyepiece for up to one hour.

Worked perfectly with my Starmaster 11” ELT and my Custom 8” f/8 Teeter Planet Killer Scope. By the way, they are equal in performance on the planets.

Price new was $1,450 in plain oak finish (like the Starmaster finish). Will sell for $750 to a buyer who will actually use it (no resellers please).

I cannot promise to check my e-mail every hour, only every day. If you want it, then make an offer. If several offers come in for the same price, then I will decide based upon who I think will use it most, who needs it most, and who will love it most.

I am selling it because I don’t use it much. I find that I have been using my TV 85 a lot in the last year. Grab and go. Sorry if that offends you true observers, but I confess that I am a looker, not an observer.

The identity information about me can be verified by calling the State Bar of Michigan. They will report my same address and phone.

If you know what this really is, then you may want it. If not, then please take a pass. The most deserving person will get it at this price if there are several offers. Decision within one week of getting six offers.

More picture available upon request.

Very truly yours,

Jeffrey Zoeller
