I’m trying to slowly clean out the parts of my camera collection I do not need, so here is another camera that deserves better than sitting in a box in my basement.
The camera is a 35mm Hanimex Praktica Super TL with a 50mm f1.8 lens. It was made in East Germany, probably in the late 1970’s to early 80’s by the styling of it. The film counter does not work and I do not know if the meter works (it takes a 625 battery). The camera does have a bulb setting and will accept a cable release, so it would make a good beginner camera for star trails and piggy-back astro-photos. It takes screw mount lenses.
The camera is FREE to a good home. I’ll cover shipping (US only please) if you agree to send me a photo taken with the camera.
Since the last camera looking for a good home had several responses, this is NOT “first come, first served”. Please write a few words telling me about yourself and why you’d like the camera. Best response received by Sunday evening (6-22-2003) will be chosen.
Thanks for your time,
