I just purchased a TV 102 so I’m selling my TV 85. It is serial number 1793 and was purchased new (by me) from Astronomics in August of 2001. I have used this scope numerous times to view the planets, double stars, the moon, and the sun. (I also have a Coronado Solarmax 40 that I use with the scope.) The following items are included in the sale:

- The OTA only (it does not include the Qwik Point finder), set screw type – not compression ring
- The clamshell (mount ring)
- Owner’s manual signed by Al Nagler (as well as the original receipt)
- Thousand Oaks Optical Solar Filter, Type 2+
- Carrying case with various allen wrenches

I have included photos of everything for sale (with the exception of the Qwik Point finder), but please feel free to email me for more. The optics on the telescope have NOT been touched since I purchased the scope. Please look closely at the photos. The handle on the carrying case has separated a little from the strap due to the threads coming loose. Also, the eyepiece cutouts in the foam insert are fitted for some of my oversized eyepieces. The metal lens cap covering the objective was also dropped once. You can see some small nicks in the photos. Also, there are two small paint chips where the lens cap screws onto the objective. These occurred (I believe) when I was replacing the lens cap or when I was attaching the adapter plate for my Solarmax. However, the are very small and not noticeable. Again, feel free to email me with any questions or concerns that you might have. For such a small scope, it delivers some incredible views.

Total cost for the package is $1,225.00 plus shipping. I will only ship to the U.S. or Canada. Personal check (it must clear), money order, or certified check only (with one of these I will ship the next day).

Thanks for looking!
Bruce Booher
