This was made for the Latvian ambassador in 1943 and is a museum quality piece of optical history. The optics were done by J.Freymann, a French optician working in Geneva during the war, and have new coatings by Spectrum. Optically excellent! It has beautifully machined aluminum and Chrome brass end rings and focuser and is a first class instrument. I have the optician's data sheets and some other papers describing the history of the scope. It is an f16 cass and f4 Newtonian, and has a 3" finder made by Lacour-Berthiot. The main tube has a new powder coated finsh. Lots more to tell if you are interested. Call or email for more information. I prefer to hand deliver or have picked up, or I can meet you part way. $2875 + shipping if it has to be sent. ( I can air freight on Southwest Airlines if you have an airport they fly into.) There are also 10 eyepieces, antiques also, that go with this.
