I have a Gateway Essential 500 PC. This is a desktop Personal Computer, and would be great to use in your observatory for telescope control or CCD imaging. I am selling it because I am mainly a film astrophotographer and the only CCD I do is planetary work with webcams. This computer is about 3 1/2 years old. It has not been used much lately. Its Specs go as follows:

*Pentium 3, 500 Mhz
*128 MB RAM
*Riva TNT2 Video Card
*10 GB hard drive
*3.5" Floppy drive
*Pioneer 8x DVD/CD-ROM drive
*2 USB ports
*Parallel ports
*Windows 98 Installed
*17" (15.9" viewable) Moniter
*Cambridge Soundworks speakers
*Mouse (2 of them actually)

I have all the origional shipping boxes (3 boxes) and documentation. I am not quite sure of the value quite yet. I am going to call and make sure and can have a definite price later. I will split the S&H costs with you (Since there are 3 boxes, it may be alot). I will also consiter a trade for a laptop computer with similar specs as the Gateway for sale. Please let me know if you are interested. If you have any questions, please ask. I am no computer wiz, but I can try to answer them as best as I can. I can have a definite price by the end of the day and will post it tomarrow and may be able to have a picture or two if I can get a hold of a digital camera. Thanks for looking.
