I have a 5" (127 mm) f/8 Astro-Physics Strafire telescope for sale. This scope has excellent optics and the tube assembly has only minor dings from use. The focuser is 2.7".
This scope is from 1989 and is the generation before the current EDF scopes. Visually and photographically it is a very close match to todays scopes but not for CCD work where refocusing in the blue is required.
The scope comes with rings, a focus extender, and a focal reducer giving f/6 (a recently manufactured option ($195). I have used this scope maybe 10 times since I bought it used and got started in astrophotography with it. Tou can see the scope and the photos I have taken at my web site. This site is listed on the astromart home page under astrophotography sites "Astrophotography by Tom Blahovici"

I am asking $3000 US or best offer. I am located in Montreal and would prefer pick up. I can also drive to the US border if desired.
Payment will be via cashiers check or certified check.

I also have a Losmandy G11 that I used with this scope. It has been used about 5 times and is in perfect condition. I will let the mount go for $2000 US if bought with the scope. There are a lot of accesories (cases etc) with the mount.

I will only sell the scope and stand together or the scope alone.

Thanks
