I am selling this wonderful telescope. I do not use it as much as my smaller (aperture - 127mm vs. 150mm) Starmax 127 since they are so similar in light gathering ability (even though the TAL is slighly sharper). So I thought I would let it go to a good home. This is the stock Tal-150P8 with the sturdy Tal-2M motorized mount and a pier. The finderscope is an absolute gem. I have improved the mount collar where it fits into the pier by drilling and tapping, then installing extra set screws. This is largely recommended by the TAL Yahoo forum. This eliminates any flexure at that point.

Comes with 25mm and 7.5mm Tal Plossls, 2X Barlow, and camera adapter. Also comes with the standard two wooden cases. Eyepieces have never been used - never been removed from the plastic they come in. I have been using another set of eye pieces with the scope.

I am in Charleston, SC and am willing to drive 100 miles to deliver the telescope. I will also ship it at the buyer's expense (please keep in mind this is a heavy scope when including all components for shipping - perhaps 150 lbs with the wooden boxes included).

Asking $650.00 firm. I can be reached at 843-834-0813 or by e-mail if you have any questions.

Thank you for looking!
