I have a Tak Sky 90 refractor, serial number 00 037, so it is a Sky 90 I made in 2000. The optics are excellent and in mint condition. The tube has a 1mm paint chip on the top middle. The dew shield has a 1mm and 3mm paint chip and scuffs along the bottom (not seen unless you are really short or hold the scope above your head). The focuser tube has a 20mm scratch caused when the finder screw was inserted too far and came in contact with the focuser tube. Pictures of all the above available upon request.
So, does any of this affect the performance of the scope? No!!! The scope performs in typical Tak fashion, both mechanically and optically.
For $1400 you get the scope ,1 1/4" adapter, lens cover, and original box. The following are also available...
