I have an Orion Starmax 127 for sale.

This scope is in PERFECT optical and mechanical condition.

Upgraded with a Vixen WOOD tripod (much more stable than the aluminium tripod that came with the scope) and an Antares 8X50 finder (itself upgraded with a Celestron ''Gold'' 26mm Plössl eyepiece + a custom reticle – no comparaison with the tiny 6X26 finder that came with the scope).

The EQ-3 equatorial mount includes a polar axis finder scope.

All assembly tools included.

Comes with 2 motors drives* with 4 D rechargeable batteries, an Orion full-aperture glass solar filter* (in an aluminium cell), an adapter for Canon EOS cameras, a Telrad base and 3 Celestron Vibration suppresion pads.
+ Orion Padded case for telescope + Meade bag for tripod and équatorial head.

Comes also with instruction manuals for the telescope, the motors, the solar filter and the Celestron pads.

No eyepiece.

500$ US. Buyers pays shipping from Montreal, Canada.

* Small issues: the telephone-style socket of the declination motor have been broken. I have replaced it with another one that is taped (see photo) – not really attractive, but works perfectly; the solar filter is a 120 mm adapted (half of the foam tape liner inside the aluminium cell have been removed) for the Starmax 127 (Orion did not made a 127 filter when I bought the scope).

Thanks for looking my ad.
